Media players better than iPod or another piece of chinese crap?

Recently I found an advert offering "absolutely cool" and super modern media players (for playing mp3, other audio and video files). Let's see what we have there... Testimonials say that these players are better than iPod... Cool! All look not bad, but I would say that 512 Mb of memory is not enough... Average audiobook may take more space, and those media players, as it said, they may be used for playing videos - 512 Mb for video - surely not enough... Even my mobile phone holds 2 Gb of data and it can same types of files...
